Abbey

Leading Therapist

Business Manager

Occupational Therapist, Associate of the Australian Hand Therapy Association

Abbey joined our team in January 2016, having completed a practical placement with us in 2015. Abbey has moved to Wagga from Cowra to join us. She has a strong interest in hand and upper limb injuries and is an innovative and problem solving member of our team. Abbey has grown her career with us and is our Therapy Coordinator and one of our Leading Therapists. Abbey is a joy to be around, and is very keen to ensure her clients achieve great outcomes.

Abbey has recently become a mum, and is rocking the joys and challenges of being a working mum! We are so grateful to have her beautiful leadership in our team.

Ashley

Leading Therapist & Therapy Coordinator

Physiotherpist, Accredited Hand Therapist as awarded by the Australian Association of Hand Therapists, Certified Hand Therapist (USA)

Ashley joined our team in 2017 following her move to Wagga Wagga from Sydney for a tree change with her family. Ashley brings with her an amazing level of experience in the field of physiotherapy and has a passion to continue to develop her career in treating hand and upper limb injuries. she has recently stepped into the role of Therapy Coordinator and is a wonderful source of inspiration to our team of working efficiently! In 2018, Ashley successfully passed the USA Certificate of Hand Therapy and more recently has gone on to become an Australian Accredited Hand Therapist.

Ash is our marathon runner, water polo player, and working mum game changer!

Sidney

Associate Therapist

Occupational Therapist

Sidney first crossed paths with Riverina Hand Therapy back in 2016 when she needed our help after a netball injury. Fast forward to 2022, she finished her last university placement with us and joined our team as a therapy assistant until graduation. In January 2023, we were stoked to welcome Sidney as an occupational therapist on our team. Her love for anatomy led her to choose hand therapy as a career, and she's all about working closely with clients to reach their goals.

Sidney LOVES to light people up and bring a smile to many faces. She values all her wonderful friends who help her recharge each week.

Ciara

Leading Client Coordinator

Ciara is the face you will see when you first walk through the door at Riverina Hand Therapy and the voice that will greet you when you call. Ciara joined us as a trainee in 2022, but it feels like she has always been a part of our team. As Client Coordinator, meeting new clients and continuing conversations with returning clients make her day. The client experience is her priority.

Ciara is our guru at trivia nights, and loves to travel, recently visiting Japan. We love her warmth, her grit and the heart she brings to work each day. We are soooooo lucky to work with Ciara.

Amy

Founder and CEO

Occupational Therapist, Life Member of Australian Hand Therapy Association, Masters of Clinical Science (Hand and upper limb), Masters of Business Administration.

Amy is the founder of Riverina Hand Therapy and began her hand therapy career back in 2000. When Riverina Hand Therapy first opened its doors in 2006, Amy was the primary hand therapist. A lot has changed over the years, Amy now has an amazing team of therapists on the ground in Wagga. This has allowed her to step into the CEO role within the company. You may not see Amy across the treatment table, but she is here. Working in the background, supporting & mentoring her team, to bring you the best possible hand therapy service to the local community.

When she is not working on the business, you might find Amy soaking up the sunshine and walking along the beach with her family in Newcastle, which is where she now calls home.
